In movie parlance it is referred to as a teaser.
And the new A Good Day to Die Hard trailer certainly lived up to its billing after saucy Russian actress Yuliya Snigir stripped off to give a glimpse of her magnificent cleavage.
She is seen seductively peeling off her racing leathers in a parking garage after getting off of a sports motorcycle.
And in a non-too-subtle piece of editing, the next clip sees Bruce Willis giving the camera a cheeky smile.
It is arguably the most noteworthy moment in the trailer, which is a silent potpourri of seemingly disconnected scenes save for some classical music.
The fruity 29-year-old has been cast as a villain in the forthcoming fifth entry in the wildly successful action movie franchise.
It will see 57-year-old Bruce slipping into his character John McClane's trademark vest yet again in a bid to foil another terrorist plot.
But this time he will have some help in the form of his son Jack, who is played by up and coming Australian actor Jai Courtney.
And to add some extra spice to the mix, McClane is on foreign soil for the first time in his crime fighting career.
He travels to Moscow to help his seemingly wayward son, completely unaware that he is actually a highly-trained CIA operative out to stop a nuclear weapons heist.
The dynamic duo end up taking on the Russian underworld in a battle to stop a countdown to war, and their vastly differing methods prove to be an irresistible combination.

And following on from that, the first two images of Yuliya Snigir have now debuted online.
We’ve already seen two trailers and more recently a new featurette, and all signs are pointing to another action-packed instalment in the cult film series.
